BRETHREN! WE MUST UPGRADE THIS YEAR OO

🎙BABA! UPGRADE THIS YEAR OOO . . . no time!
.
.
.
Did you know that while Sen. Barrack Obama (as he was at the time) was still running for POTUS . . .
He entered the ‘Glider Diner’ in Pennsylvania to have a breakfast on a certain morning.
.
.
He ordered for 2 sausages, 2eggs and 1 toast . . . (oyibo man breakfast 😂)
.
.
.
He took half of the meal, leaving the leftover on the plate and exited the restaurant. The total cost of the breakfast was $3.75
.
.
On coming to clear the table, the waitress saw the leftover. It didn’t look like it was useful.
.
.
.
She quietly packaged the leftover and gave it to a ‘loyal customer’ who asked for it
.
.
.
Due to the popularity of Sen. Obama at the time, the customer thought to himself, “I wonder if someone would like to have the leftover of Barrack Obama” . . . (that’s how ideas come . . . in form of questions)
.
.
.
He gently covered the plate with a transparent film, snapped it and posted the picture on eBay and asked anyone interested to bid for it.
.
.
.
By evening of that same day, the highest bid was $107,000 as reported by RICHARD QUEST of CNN.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I have two questions for you:
- How can a full meal cost $3.75 and half of the same meal cost $107,000?
- Can someone see your leftover as an opportunity and not be proven wrong?
.
.
.
Well, I’ll leave you with your answer . . .
Let me just jump to what I want to say!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
You see, you need to understand that people acquire things based on their ‘perception of its value’.
WHILE SOMEONE SAW THE LEFTOVER AS A WASTE . . . ANOTHER SAW AN OPPORTUNITY . . . and he was right!!!
Well, if this happened in Nigeria . . . Walahi! that leftover would have found its rightful place in the dustbin in 24hours 😂
.
.
.
But then, let’s assume the leftover wasn’t that of a political figure but a known artist, let’s say ‘Wizkid or Davido’. Well, let me still leave you with the answer . . .
(someone is getting a business idea already . . . the anointing is flowing now 😂)
.
.
If you are a business person or entrepreneur, you must have realized that not all customers are the same!
.
.
There are a few you need to give a Havard standard sales pitch for them to consider your offer, while others will literally be the ones begging you for the same offer
.
.
So, what’s the difference?
‘VALUE PERCEPTION’.
Recently, I exchanged an online course I normally offer for N15,000 for a course my friend was offering for N3,000 simply because I perceived the value much more than others normally would do.
.
.
.
How does this help your business?
- Understanding that not everyone will value your proposition at the same level . . . you know when you don’t need to waste further atoms of saliva on convincing a customer to buy from you
- To get past your customers’ head into their pockets, you must make sure that their value of your products matches the price you are offering
- If you must increase your PRICE, increase the VALUE of your products first!
- THERE IS OPPORTUNITY IN EVERY LEFTOVER (WASTE) . . . IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHO ‘LEFT IT OVER’
.
.
.
🙏🏻 So, with is few points of mine, I hope I’ve been able to convince you and not confuse you that . . . YOU NEED TO UPGRADE YOURSELF THIS YEAR OOO! (make person see you as opportunity too)
.
.
.
